The ACTs group (and friends) spent the last Saturday in November making Christmas decorations as part of a 24 hour ‘sponsored unplug’ away from all our usual favourite electronic gadgets.
This week we sold what we had made in our ‘Christmas Emporium’.
The group has been thinking about others in society as part of our meetings over Advent and so it was decided that the profits from the event would go towards ‘Crossreach‘ the Church’s Charity for the homeless and vulnerable.
An AMAZING total of £450 (so far…some items still to sell) has been raised by what was done and made over that 24 hours. Very well done to all!
